Uh, congratulation to everyone who made Homecoming Court. I'm really not surprised that Kate and Ethan were chosen from the freshman class. Ethan is the hottest boy in our grade. (Sorry, Gordo, I'm just stating the objective truth. I still like you more than him, though!) As for Kate, well, she always wins things like that. You two looked really great as our Prince and Princess, too.
Isabella sent me an e-mail earlier. She's going to be coming over to the states next month and wants to visit. Man just hearing from her though, it makes me think of Rome, and the summer. I was just starting to believe I had dreamed it all, when she e-mailed me. It was kind of freaky the timing of it.
Speaking of summer, I think I'm ready for summer vacation already. I'm kind of tired of being a Freshman. Things are kind of weird this year I guess when someone told me that everything changes in High School, I never really believed them before. I'm starting to realize it's true though, because things do change - well, people do.
I'm not even making any sense, either. Sorry, I should just quit while I'm ahead. Later!

| (003) Dresses.... |
[Oct 6, 2008 * 9:11pm] |
So, the whole homecoming dance thing on Saturday. It's not supposed to be formal, right? Semi-formal... which doesn't mean Prom-worthy dresses? Because Miranda and I were at the mall earlier, shopping for dresses and we saw a lot of girls trying on dresses you'd expect to see at a PROM, and it got me worried. I don't want to be superly underdressed, or superly overdressed, or you know, anything like that.
So... uh, Homecoming dresses... how semi is the semi-part in the whole semi-formal thing?
Also? Can everyday be pajama day??? I was sooooo comfortable!!

So, I have a hard time thinking of what to write in this thing, and well, I'm bored...so I figured out how to make it so only I could see comments..
Okay so if you need advice on ANYTHING, school, dating, family issues, friend issues, shopping, you know WHATEVER... ask me in a comment. Be as detailed as necessarily. And then for my next entry I'm going to answer the questions, keeping the identity of the person asking the question a secret.
I know, its like LAME, right? Well, hey, at least I'm offering to listen to that which you have no one else to listen to you!!! It's probably only going to be like an occasional thing I'll even do this. Certainly not that frequently so don't miss out on your chance!!!
Uhm, forget what I had written here if you saw it. I changed my mind!
But I am still bored!

| (001) First post... finally! |

Here's a story for you all. Girl goes to Rome and has her fifteen minutes of fame. Yes, that's right, she performed at an INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AWARDS CEREMONY. Which, by the way, was a one time thing and a total fluke. C'mon, this is the same girl who ruined 8th Grade Graduation by FALLING on her way to the stage and knocking down the entire curtain. What can I say, she's graceful.
Right, back to the story. So this girl goes to Rome and has an INCREDIBLE Roman adventure, complete with doubling as a popstar, etc.. Total dream. AMAZING. What happens to the girl?
She spends the rest of the summer GROUNDED. Cut off from ALL friends. No phone, no visits, no NOTHING. Trust me, it was a LONG SUMMER. Then, right before school starts, the girl recieves a brand new laptop - and even better - its a SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT.. Well, sort of. It's enough of a school project that my parents couldn't say NO.
In her excitement to get online and finally connect to someone who wasn't related to her she tripped up the stairs (really, no big surprise there) and...
Yeah, the laptop didn't survive that fall.
Ahem. So, here I am, blogging for the first time because NLI was kind enough to send a replacement... it just took awhile for it to arrive. For those of you who heard about what happened in Rome - yes, it's true. But like I said, it was a one time thing. Trust me, I know not to press my luck.
XOXO, Lizzie :)
PS. I have never been so happy for school than this year. Even if Kate is pretending like I don't exist again despite the fact that we had actually made amends in Rome. Whatever. The school year means I'm NOT GROUNDED.... And it's about TIME.
